Tuesday (18 Oct) Motorola RAZR DROID release in New York while the release for the European region was held on Wednesday (19 Oct) in Berlin, Germany. Droid Razr was released with Android 2.3.5, Motorola RAZR DROID will receive the upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Certainty that there is an upgrade to Android 4.0 which was expressed by the Motorola and will be provided through the OTA update. Alain Mutricy, senior vice president of Portfolio and Product Management, said the OTA update that will begin in early 2012.
Mutricy explained that the upgrade to the Android ICS will incorporate all the innovations into the Android RAZR smartphone. Askng the exact date of when the update will be released, Mutricy promised to announce it later.
Motorola DROID RAZR is the thinnest and lightweight smartphone in the Android world that combines the power of the Android OS and RAZR thin design phones. Motorola uses a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM and Super AMOLED QHD display measuring 4.3 inches, 8MP camera with 1080p video recording and a powerful 1800mAh battery.
